Senior Picnic

In an effort to give seniors a relaxing and enjoyable day out of the city, the RBSCC sponsors two annual picnics at Sunken Meadow State Park. Nearly 10,000 senior citizens participate in July and August of each year. The picnics are provided at absolutely no cost to the seniors and operate exclusively with the assistance of staff and community volunteers. Lunch and dinner, complete with dessert, are served. Recreational activities and live entertainment are available throughout the day.
